Its largest park is Cannon Hill, spanning 250 acres and is a perfect spot for walking, a summer picnic, or pedal boating. For a quieter haven, you can opt for the Winterbourne House & Garden, full of glorious flowers, greenhouses, and an Edwardian house. The formal Castle Bromwich Historic Gardens are worth a visit, as well as the vibrant village of Edgbaston, just a short distance from the city centre.

Walking football is an excellent way to keep fit and Birmingham has a host of clubs for you to join in the leisurely fun. Or you can tee up at the iconic Belfry golf course spanning 550 acres. Birmingham is renowned for its vibrant and varied food and drink scene.
